The Wind in the Willows
I have been reading a book called The Wind in the Willows. Here are some of my favorite characters. Mole, Ratty, Toad, Badger, and Otter. Badger lives in the dark woods. Ratty lives on the river bank. Mole lives in his underground hole. Then mole went to live with Ratty.
The book is about their adventures.
Toad is kind of vain. One time he bought a motor car. He drove so fast that he had to go to the hospital three times because he kept crashing.
The book is called the Wind in the Willows because there are lots of willow trees.
I don't think I have ever read this book? Who is it by? Is it part of a series? I read a book called The Light in the Forest. It was one of Raychel's favorite books when she was little. It is about a boy who was kidnapped by Indians when he was little. When he was rescued, he did not like it and ran away back to the Indians.
