Scooper, his trust police dog was doing something weird this morning. It seemed that he was digging through the fridge trying to find a jar of pickles. I knew it was my job to investigate.
Just in time I caught my chocolate cake. I caught my eggs too, but, unfortunately, with the side of my face. Scooper must be really hungry for breakfast. Investigation closed.
After breakfast, Scooper bounded outside to practice his biggest talent, digging holes. Oh no! Right under the fence again. Luckily Scooper dug right back under the fence. Then a branch fell right on Scooper’s head!
Little did I know the adventure of the back yard had begun. A flying saucer soared overhead. At least, I thought it was until I realized it was my friend monkey’s remote control airplane.
Scooper didn’t know it was just a toy and barked crazily at the alien invasion. Finally, he caught it between his teeth and flung it at his worst enemy Fefe the cat.
Fefe flew straight up with fur straight on end and landed on Scoopy’s back. Scoopy , thinking this was the worst alien invasion ever, caught Fefe’s tail in his teeth.
Tired of the action, Fefe ran for her cat house only to chase by Scooper who managed once again to bite her wounded tail.
“Screech!” The poor cat ran for her life into grumpy Mrs. Grindle’s house. Scoopy was close behind. Desperate to escape the crazy dog, she hid in an open box right in front of her. “Wait a minute,” she thought, “it’s all wet in here.” On went the sprayers! It was a dishwasher. She got a very unusually steam bath.
