Mosasaur

A Mosasaur was a reptile, not a dinosaur.  It started out as lizard and was forced to flee into the water and evolved into the Mosasaur.

A Mosasaur is vicious.  He will eat anything in it's way.  Sharks can kill and eat it.  If two Mosasaurs run into each other, they will try to kill each other.  Sometimes they kill things just because they are vicious.

This is how a Mosasaur died. They think there was a 60 foot comet that hit the earth.  It made a giant cloud of dust that blocked the sun entirely.  It wiped out 75% of the dinosaurs.  Half of the food chain was destroyed.  Especially the animals in the ocean.

Reptile Exhibit

Today we went to a museum called OMSI.  It is a science museaum. We went to see a reptile exhibit.

There was a giant exhibit on reptiles.  We had a fun time.  Our cousins Dylan, AJ, Connor, Makayla, and Ethan came with us.  Nana came too.  There was a place where you could pet snakes, lizards, and turtles.  My favorite animal was a turtle that you could pet.   He was seven years-old and he looked like he was 75 years-old.  He was 50 pounds.

Swimming Lessons

I am going to swimming lessons.  My teacher's name is Nancy.  She is really funny.  Today was the last was the last day.  I passed the test and moved on to level three.  I was really excited.

I learned how to do the back kick and fan.  We used the flippers today.  You go really fast with the flippers.  Today I jumped off the diving board.  That is my favorite thing to do.  I learned how to do a knee dive and a pencil dive.

My Mom used to work where we go to swimming lessons
